Huami Technology has announced that its Amazfit GTR 47mm smartwatch and Amazfit GTS are receiving an update to help users monitor their heart health better.
Health monitoring has always been the main focus of the Amazfit development of wearable devices. Both versions of the abovementioned watches are equipped with the high-precision optical bio tracking sensor – BioTrackerTM PPG. This exclusive development of Huami Technology provides round-the-clock heart rate monitoring in real-time with a high sampling rate and low power consumption.
The “Heart Health Check” function, added this time, can completely measure user’s heart health with the help of watch and detect abnormalities, such as heart rhythm disturbances and atrial fibrillation. The app can then provide a notification if an anomaly is detected or the wearer’s heart rate moves outside a given range.
In addition to heart rate, the watch can track sleep and calorie consumption and can remind the user if they’ve been sitting still for an extended period of time.
