In August, Xiaomi announced a new model of children’s watches Mi Bunny Smartwatch 3C. Recently, however, Xiaomi has received Bluetooth certification for two new smartwatches for kids.

The company launched the first generation of Mi Bunny a little over two years ago. The first version was quite limited in functionality but Xiaomi improved this model row with a couple of new fully-featured devices.
For example, Mi Bunny Watch 3 and the 3C which were released this summer, allow kids to make calls from their wrist, have an integrated camera on-board that can take snaps and videos in Full HD and much more.
But now we can look forward to new watches in the Xiaomi kids’ line.
Two new devices were added to the Bluetooth SIG database. The first one was registered yesterday morning and the other one – on September 10. They have the following model numbers: MTSB08XUN (called – Mi Bunny Smartwatch 4 Pro) and MTSB09XUN (called – Mi Kids Smartwatch 2S).
According to information available in the Bluetooth SIG, new Mi Kids Smartwatch 4 Pro might get an AMOLED display (like the 3C model), LTE functionality, camera for video calls, Wi-Fi, GPS and protection against moisture and dust. Likely, the smart assistant XiaoAI may also be on board.
It is not known yet whether these watch models will have an international version, or whether they will be available only in China. But it would be great to see multi-language support and global sales worldwide.
Since Mi Bunny Smartwatch 3C has been presented just recently (in August), most likely new watches will be launched without loud announcements, and quietly appear on store shelves and web-stores.
