Xiaomi is raising money for smartwatches under the Haylou brand on its crowdfunding platform Youpin. The new device looks like Apple Watch, but costs only $15 (99.9 yuan)!
Specifications
The watch received a 1.34-inch IPS display with a soft strap and a 210 mAh battery, one charge of which may last up to 14 days.
Thanks to the built-in heart rate sensor, the gadget can monitor the user’s heart rate, quality of sleep and offers 9 sports modes, including walking, running, cycling, mountain climbing, and even yoga.
There is also an alarm and a stopwatch. With the help of the Haylou App, the watch informs the owner of incoming calls and messages from the smartphone.
The smartwatch is protected against moisture and dust according to the IP68 standard.
Price
The watch is only available in China for now at a crowdfunding price of 99.9 Yuan ($15). This is cheap even for Chinese standards.
This is not the first time Xiaomi is crowdfunding a smartwatch on Youpin. Earlier this year it partnered with Yunmai to raise funds for the $100 Xiaomi Yunmai.
