Smartwatches on Android are not the most popular devices on the mobile device market, as they have several disadvantages, for example, insufficient battery life. Although, Kospet introduced a new model called Kospet Prime, which received a pretty good list of technical specifications.
- 1260mAh polymer battery: the biggest battery capacity of the smartwatch in the world, daily using time up to 72 hours

The first thing that catches your eye when you first look at the Kospet Prime is dimensions – 280x50x18.5 mm and weight of 83 grams. By the standards of modern watches – it is quite a lot.
The Prime smartwatch is made of plastic, but the front part is covered with ceramics. The build quality is pretty good.
On the lateral right side are two mechanical buttons made of soft plastic that resembles rubber – turning on and moving backward. The main camera is installed between them. The watch has two cameras on board, one is located between the control buttons and has an 8-megapixel sensor, and the second is a 2-megapixel one.
The screen received IPS technology and has a good high-quality picture. But, there is not enough brightness and on a sunny day, viewing the image on the screen will be a bit problematic. The inner part of the Kospet Prime has a metal plate and if you unscrew it (a screwdriver is included) you will find a nano-SIM card slot. There is also a heart rate sensor, a four-pin power connector, a speaker and a microphone. It is also worth noting the presence of water protection of the IP67 standard.
The strap has a width of 22 mm and a length of 280 mm. There are two options: silicone and brown leather. The strap can be easily removed and replaced with any other.
The watch is equipped with a MediaTek MT6739 processor, which was actively used in budget smartphones several years ago. Also, Kospet Prime got 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, which is quite enough for daily use.
The watch works on Android version 7.1.1 and has a convenient and familiar user interface. In general, the performance is good, but there are some delays if you scroll from the main screen to the main menu. The rest of the user interface is pretty fast and operates without any problems.
Features and Application
The Kospet Prime main screen displays almost all useful information, such as time, day of the week, temperature and battery level. If you don’t like the watch face, you may hold your finger on the screen for a few seconds and set any other – there are 11 available.
If you scroll down from the main screen, you will get to the quick settings menu. Here are the usual features: time, day of the week, connection to a smartphone and 4G network, date and battery level.
If you scroll left, various settings will appear, such as: do not disturb mode, brightness settings, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and much more. Next is – quick cleaning, music player and weather.
If you scroll up from the main screen, there will be a table with the steps taken and the distance.
If you scroll to the right – there will be a notification menu, and to the left – the main menu of the smartwatch.
The smartwatch uses the Android operating system, so you may install almost any application and game from the Google Play Market if needed.
The watch is equipped with a face recognition sensor. A convenient function, but in the dark, it does not work correctly and the operating time is not as fast as on modern smartphones.
Kospet Prime has 9 workout modes and equipped with GPS, GLONASS, and A-GPS. There is enough internal memory to record your favorite music and use wireless headphones during workouts.
Smartwatch has also support for nano-SIM cards, which allows to make calls and have Internet access everywhere.
The device synchronizes with an application called WiiWatch 2, it is available on Android and iOS devices.
Of course, the main feature of the Kospet Prime smartwatch is its large 1250 mAh battery capacity. Compared with other generations that have a battery of 400 to 600 mAh and a run time of about 1 day, the new Prime watch has a large capacity.
During the testing of watches with an average usage mode, the watch worked for about 2 days, and at the end of the second day, the battery level was approximately 24%. Charging time through the docking station is approximately 3.5 hours and this is quite a lot.
